New Zealand, Norway kick-off FIFA Women’s World Cup on GOtv

The ninth FIFA Women’s World Cup co-hosted by New Zealand and Australia will broadcast on GOtv starting with the opening game of the tournament between New Zealand and Norway on Thursday.

In a statement issued by MultiChoice Nigeria on Wednesday, the company announced that GOtv customers on Jolli, Max and Supa packages would be able to watch all the matches of the tournament, live on SuperSport Football Africa (GOtv channel 61).

New Zealand will raise the curtain against Norway on Thursday at 7:45am, followed by a Group B clash between Australia and Republic of Ireland at 10:45am. The Super Falcons of Nigeria will kick-off their campaign in Group B on Friday morning when they take on Canada at 3:15 am, while the other Group A clash between Philippines and Switzerland will kick-off at 5:45am. Still on Friday, Group C games will begin with Spain vs Costa Rica at 8:15am.

On Saturday, defending champions, United States will begin their title defence in Group E against Vietnam at 1:45am, while Group C’s challengers Zambia and Japan will duel at 7:45am. England vs Haiti will open the race in Group D at 10:15am and the final game of the kick-off is a Group D battle between Denmark vs China at 12:45pm.

On Sunday morning, Group G rivals Sweden and South Africa will challenge each other at 5:45am, followed by a Group E clash between Netherlands and Portugal at 8:15am. The matchday will wrap up with a Group F tie between France and Jamaica at 10:45am.

The games will continue on Monday with a Group B clash between Italy and Argentina at 06:45 am, followed by a Group H duel between Germany and Morocco at 09:15 am before Brazil and Panama will face-off at 11:45am. The first round of group games will wrap up on Tuesday with a Group H clash between Colombia and South Korea at 02:45 am.
