New National Orthopedics Hospital Benin gets equipment

A group, Committee of Friends and Mentees of Prof Alfred Ogbemudia, has donated essential hospital and office equipment worth millions of naira to the newly National Orthopedics Hospital in Benin City.

Presenting the items to the hospital, representative of the group, Dr. Mobash-Shir Moin , a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, said that it was aimed at supporting Prof. Ogbemudia who was recently appointed as the pioneer Acting Medical Director of the hospital for his significant role in their professional development during residency training.

Dr Moin added that the group’s decision to donate these hospital and office equipments reflects their gratitude for the mentorship received and their dedication to ensuring the hospital’s succeeds.

Accepting the items, Prof. Ogbemudia expressed deep appreciation to the committee, assuring them that the donated items would be efficiently utilized to provide much-needed care to patients seeking treatment at the hospital.

The donated items include a range of medical tools, including an examination couch, examination screen, drip stand, nebulizer, digital and analog sphygmomanometers, glucometer, weighing scale, stethoscope, and latex gloves.
