New dawn as Ibrahim Olasunkanmi emerges paramount ruler of Isheri Olofin

Prince Ibrahim Olasunkanmi Lawal has emerged the paramount ruler of Isheri Olofin Kingdom in Egbe/Idimu Local Council Development Area of Lagos State.

The emergence of the new traditioner ruler who originated from Olanwa House, followed a series of selection processes which culminated in his choice.

Having poised as successor to late Oba Wahab Ayinde Balogun who died February 8, 2022 at age 94, Ibrahim vowed to take the town to the next level as he fill the exalted stool.

Speaking about his plan for the historical town, the University of Lagos Chemical and Petroleum Engineering graduate, expressed he won’t give room for corruption and hooliganism in his bid to make the town conducive for old and young.

He however in ecstasy promised to align with the idea of the state governor, Babajide Sanwo-olu who he believed in his agenda.

‘ I’m extremely glad achieving this feat and I can tell you I’m ready to rule this town successfully with the help of God and support from the indigenes. I have so many great plans in the offings which I won’t want to dish out for now but I can only mention few which will consist youth and sports development scheme, charity, vocational skills for all, educational growth and welfare of residence.”

‘We are going to empower ourselves to get the best out of ourselves. So my people should watch out for investing in ourselves is the key. I will also align with the agenda of my able governor, Babajide Sanwo-olu who has never relent in the upliftment of transportation, education, entertainment  and host of others.”

‘ It’s obvious I can’t do this alone without the help of the state and local government I reside but I can assure everyone my tenure will be favorable to anyone under my watch,’ he assured.

Ibrahim, who is the last child of four children was born into Bello family. He attended Gateway Nursery and Primary School, Isheri-Olofin before proceeding his secondary school education in Foldemi Private School in Ikotun. He however further his education at St. Francis Catholic Secondary School, Isheri-Olofin after which he bagged a degree at the prestigious University of Lagos.

His love for the game of soccer had seen him emerged a football club owner and a FIFA License agent.
