The Nigeria Defence Academy on Thursday conferred a Doctor of Management Science (honoris causa) degree on the Chief Executive Officer of Air Peace, Allen Onyema.
The event took place at the convocation ceremony of the 70 Regular Course and Postgraduate Students of the military institution in Kaduna.
Commandant of the NDA, Major General JO Ochai, explained that Onyema was honoured by the institution in recognition of his achievements “in the field of business, education, administration and outstanding service to the nation and humanity in general.”
General Ochai further stated that in the past 15 years, the NDA had conferred honorary degrees on 39 distinguished Nigerians, includimg two foreign Heads of State.
“This year, the Academy deems it fit to nominate you and three other eminent Nigerians for this award,” he noted in a letter to the businessman and philanthropist.
