NCDMB trains 40 Delta youths on cyber security, networking

The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) has concluded the training of 40 youths in Warri, Delta State on computer networking and cyber security.

The  five-day training, which ended today, Friday July 3, was executed by Divine Communications Integrated Services Limited on behalf of NCDMB.

Participants were taken through intensive modules on network fundamentals, ethical hacking, threat detection, data protection and best practices for securing digital infrastructure. The programme also included practical sessions with laptops and training software to ensure hands-on competence.

At the closing ceremony, certificates of participation were presented to the 40 beneficiaries.

The company also provided startup kits, branded materials and empowerment items to support the youths as they begin careers and businesses in the ICT and cyber security space.

Speaking at the event, a representative of Divine Communications said the training aligns with NCDMB’s mandate to build local capacity and create sustainable employment for Nigerian youths in the technology sector.
