The national electricity grid collapsed yet again collapsed on Monday,throwing some parts of the country into darkness.
An official of the Transmission Company of Nigeria, who confirmed the incident said it was a partial collapse.
An official of TCN confirmed the development but refused to give further details because he was not authorized to speak on the development.
The official, however, disclosed that power is being restored gradually.
As at 8.34pm, there was electricity supply is some parts of Ikeja.
This is the fifth time the grid has collapsed in 2024.
