In a compelling statement issued yesterday Engineer Joseph Ewuga Ewudun, the labour party candidate in tht last Guber election addressed concerns amongst citizens and particularly Labour Party members regarding the purported defection of Senator Solomon Aku Ewuga to the APC.

Ewudun dismissed the defection, describing it as inconsequential, emphasizing that Senator Solomon Aku Ewuga has positioned himself as a political opportunist, willing to engage in clandestine negotiations for elusive offices that hold no substance.

Reflecting on past political events, Ewudun recounted the 2015 general elections, highlighting promises made to Senator Solomon Aku Ewuga which led to the contentious acquisition of the Senatorial seat won by Senator Yusuf Nagogo.

He underscored Senator Nagogo’s impactful tenure in the National Assembly, contrasting it with Ewuga’s actions.

The statement drew attention to the turmoil associated with Senator Solomon Aku Ewuga, referencing the Assaikio crisis and the devastating aftermath of the Ombatse saga, both events leading to loss of lives and properties. Additionally, Ewudun pressed for an apology from Ewuga to the people of Nasarawa North Senatorial Zone for deceiving them with false promises of Federal Republic of Nigeria approved loans.

Advising Ewuga to consider his age and standing within the community he represented in the Senate before making any political moves, Ewudun warned against actions that might bring ridicule upon Ewuga.

Urging Labour Party members in Nasarawa State not to lose faith due to the alleged defection, Ewudun emphasized the collaborative effort between the Labour Party and the PDP during the Nasarawa State Governorship Election, expressing confidence in the joint struggle for actualization.
