In a significant development, the governing council of Isa Mustapha Agwai Polytechnic has approved the appointment of Zainab Aliyu Dalhatu as the Substantive Bursar of the polytechnic.
The appointment, which was officially conveyed in a press Release dated Thursday, July 13, signed by Zamani Habu Ibrahim, the Registrar and Secretary to the Council, sent to Daily Sun noted that it marks a new chapter for the institution.
The Chairman of the Governing Council, Professor Sani Mohammed Bako III, who also holds the esteemed title of Emir of Karshi, expressed his satisfaction with the appointment. He emphasised that the appointment is for a single term of five years with effect from Thursday, July 13.
The release further state that the decision received the full support and blessing of His Excellency, Engr Abdullahi A Sule, the Executive Governor of Nasarawa State.
