The Nasarawa State House of Assembly, says it would pass into law the 2025 Supplementary Appropriation Bill of N92,150, 231, 374.88 only for the fiscal year on Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2025.
The Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Danladi Jatau Ph.D announced this when the House adopted the Report of the House Committee on Finance and Appropriation during the House proceedings in Lafia today, Monday.
Dr. Jatau commended the committee for doing a god job despite their tight schedules.
” I want to appreciate the committee despite the shortest period, you were able to do justice to the budget,” he said.
Speaker Jatau said that the passage of the bill into law would enable the state government complete ongoing giant and legacy projects.
” I will slate tommorow, Nov. 25, 2025 for the final passage of this bill into law.

Earlier, Hon Hudu A. Hudu, the Chairman of the Committee while presenting its report said that the committee had recommended for approval of a total sum of N92,150,231,374.88 as the total sum of supplementary for the year 2025 budget
According to him, Recurrent Expenditure
Personnel Cost- N7, 946, 992,400.03, Other Recurrent Cost- N24, 802, 751,000.00
” Capital Expenditure N59, 400,487,974.85, total- N92, 150, 231,374.87,” he added
Hon Hudu also said that the committee recommended for the total sum of N476, 468,074, 966.91 as total revenue to take care of the adjustment and supplementary for the 2025 budget.
Earlier, Hon Suleiman Yakubu Azara, the Majority Leader of the House moved a motion for the adoption of the committee’s report.
Hon. Luka Iliya Zhekaba, the Minority Leader of the House seconded the motion.
The House unanimously adopted the committee’s report.
