A new player in Africa’s expanding tech scene, Liners Africa, has officially launched, aiming to make it easier for businesses and individuals to discover, compare, and evaluate software options.
Founded in early 2026 by tech entrepreneur Kayode Faturoti, the platform serves as a central point for software discovery, filling a long-standing market gap: the absence of reliable, structured, and locally relevant data on digital tools.
At its core, Liners Africa offers a product built on transparency and ease of use. The platform collects software listings into a single, straightforward directory, allowing users to find tools tailored specifically to African markets—something many global platforms often overlook.

On the foundation of the product, Kayode Faturoti said the idea stemmed from personal experience. “Many of the tools being used across African markets were difficult to evaluate because there was no central place to verify information or compare available options,” he explained.
The platform’s main features aim to build trust and improve decision-making. These include verified software listings to ensure credibility, detailed company profiles providing insights into founders and operations, and comparison tools for side-by-side evaluation of multiple products. It also features user feedback systems and automated quality checks to maintain data accuracy and authenticity.
As digital adoption accelerates in major African cities, the need for sector-specific tools, especially in fintech, logistics, agritech, and climate innovation, continues to grow. Liners Africa positions itself as a solution to meet this demand, offering a structured way for users to find solutions that fit local business realities.
Kayode Faturoti also emphasized that the larger goal is to shift how software is selected in Africa from informal recommendations to decisions backed by reliable data. “We want software decisions to be based on information that is clear and verifiable,” he said.
Looking ahead, the platform plans to expand its database as African startups grow rapidly, while encouraging verified user participation to strengthen its review community.
