Justice Ambrose Lewis-Allagoa of the Federal High Court, Lagos, has fixed November 7, 2025, for the arraignment of three ex- employees of Brila Broadcasting Services Limited.
The court fixed the date yesterday following failure of the defendants: Akakan Victor Mkpong Sam, Blessing Sunday Ekerete and Anthony Babafemi Raji, to appear before it for their arraignment.
Inspector General of Police (IGP), Kayode Egbetokun, had filed a five-count charge against the defendants and their arraignment was slated for yesterday but the defendants failed to appear before the court.
When the case was called yesterday, S.A. Ogala appeared for the prosecution, while neither the defendants nor their counsel was present in court. The prosecutor, Ogala, informed the court that the defendants had been duly served, but affidavit to that effect was not yet on court’s file.
