Through VOICES OF MEN, Chibuzor addresses the need for open conversation around the often-unseen challenges men face in today’s world. His advocacy isn’t simply about creating awareness; it’s a call to action. Chibuzor, through his candid approach, speaks to men and society at large, highlighting the importance of male mental health, emotional expression, and the need for stronger support networks among men.
Chibuzor’s journey in the Mr. World Nigeria 2024 competition demonstrated his talent, drive, and vision. Earning the Best Talent award for his powerful song deliver of THIS TIME by John Legend, Chibuzor stood out among his peers not only as a contender but as a voice of change. He used his moment in the spotlight to convey a message that resonated with thousands— emphatically stating that This is His Moment and he wants it all. Additionally, encouraging men to find strength in their vulnerability and to redefine what it means to be resilient.
“Our culture often discourages men from openly sharing their struggles, making it harder for many to find support during tough times,” Chibuzor stated in a recent interview. “VOICES OF MEN is about breaking these barriers and creating spaces where men can express, heal, and support one another without fear or shame.”
The VOICES OF MEN initiative is rooted in a deep understanding of the societal and psychological pressures unique to men. Chibuzor believes these pressures, when left unaddressed, contribute to alarming statistics on male mental health challenges, suicide rates, and relationship breakdowns. Through his advocacy, he aims to create awareness and foster community programs that support men in building resilience and accessing mental health resources.
