Prominent Nigerians including Publisher of Muryar Arewa, a northern sensational magazine and media consultant, Malam Kabiru Assada and Minster of State for Defense were among personalities recognised by a Kano-based news outlet, HotPen Magazine.
Assada was recognised for his outstanding contributions to the development of news prints in the country, according to the Management team in a citation while presenting the awardee.
The event was held in Kano, at its 10 years anniversary held in Kano, the organisation described Assada as a familiar name in the journalistic circles long revered for his commitment to truth and unwavering dedication to journalism.
