Iran has launched a wide-ranging series of missile and drone strikes targeting US and Israeli military installations across the Middle East, in retaliation for recent airstrikes that Tehran called “a breach of the UN Charter and an act of flagrant aggression.”
The Iranian military confirmed attacks on several key locations, including al-Udeid Airbase in Qatar, Ali al-Salem Base in Kuwait, al-Dhafra Airbase in the UAE, Prince Sultan Airbase in Riyadh, the US base in Erbil, Iraq, Muwaffaq Salti Airbase in Jordan, and the US Fifth Fleet base in Bahrain.
While no large-scale military damage was immediately reported, stray drones and missiles struck civilian infrastructure, hitting an apartment block in Bahrain and an airport terminal in Kuwait.
