American actor Michael Madsen, known for his roles in Quentin Tarantino films, was arrested in Malibu, California, on Saturday, following a domestic disturbance call.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department confirmed the arrest, stating a woman alleged ‘her husband pushed her and locked her out of their residence.’
Madsen, 66, was released on a $20,000 bond. The investigation is ongoing and will be presented to the Van Nuys Superior Court House. No further details have been released. Madsen has not commented publicly.
A representative for the actor, known for playing Mr Blonde in ‘Reservoir Dogs’ and Budd in ‘Kill Bill: Volume 2,’ told Variety the incident was ‘a disagreement between Michael and his wife, which we hope resolves positively for them both.’ Madsen and his wife, DeAnna, have been married for 28 years.
