A new romantic drama titled Everything Is New Again, directed by acclaimed filmmaker, Chinaza Onuzo, and produced by Isioma Osaje, has premiered in Nigerian cinemas. Following a successful worldwide premiere on January 28, 2026, the movie began screening on January 30 and has attracted attention due to its bold storyline and star-studded cast.

The film features Mercy Aigbe, Vine Olugu, and Desmond Elliot and centres around Funmi, played by Aigbe, a 45-year-old interior designer who rediscovers love in an unexpected relationship with a younger man named Ekene. Their romance challenges age-related stereotypes and societal expectations, forming the emotional core of the story.

Everything Is New Again explores themes of love, desire, ageing, and second chances, offering a witty and emotionally charged narrative that reflects contemporary realities. The film will also be screened at Silverbird Cinemas in various locations, including West Hills and Accra Mall in Ghana, providing audiences across West Africa the chance to experience it on the big screen.
