Argentine striker, Mauro Icardi says he’s looking forward to partnering Super Eagles ace, Victor Osimhen in Galatasaray attack.
Recuperating Icardi who is expected back in Istanbul, after spending weeks in Argentina for treatment, sent a message to Osimhen and club of his desire to play in the Istanbul Derby against Fenerbahçe on Saturday, September 22.
Icardi told Ersin Düzen of Turkish Tv100, when asked about his opinion on the newly signed Nigerian striker from Napoli.
“My message to Osimhen, Wait for me, we’ll score a lot of goals together.”
The Nigerian had after said after his debut on Saturday: “There is no competition between me and Icardi. He’s already a legend. I have much to learn from him.”
Galatasaray ‘s super star Mauro Icardi had injured himself in the Super Lig game against Adana Demirspor, and suffered a second degree strain, bleeding and partial tear in his right upper back muscle of his leg.
