The organisers of Maryland Beauty Pageant, Nigeria, have solicited the support of the Sun Publishing Limited in their upcoming event.
They made the demand recently when they visited the Ikeja office of the media organization in Lagos.
Speaking during the visit, the PR Manager, Maryland Beauty Pageant, Season 3, Queensley John, while commending the efforts of The Sun in impacting lives, projecting people and bringing them to the limelight, solicited for media support during the upcoming third edition of Miss Maryland Beauty Pageant, Nigeria, and partnership in other areas that can project the pageant. “We are spreading tentacles. We want the world to know about the ‘Face of Maryland Nigeria,’ and we know that The Sun is one of the media that we can use to achieve that,” John said.
Also speaking, the Administrative Director of Face of Maryland, Nigeria, Mr Princewill George, stated the necessity to visit The Sun Publishing Company, saying, “We have been doing the pageant, but there is the need for us to come here because we understand the publicity that we will get, and the relationship that we would sustain to partner with The Sun. We are not just doing Face of Maryland, Nigeria for male and female, but this year, we are trying to overboard ourselves to do something sectional. “Three years into the pageant, we want to create a niche for ourselves, but the best way to do it is to come to The Sun.
We are doing season 3, but we don’t want to do it without the right bodies, and we saw The Sun as part of the people that could bring us to the limelight,” he said.
He expressed hope to strengthen the relationship by also working on other areas expected from The Sun.
The Managing Director of The Sun Publishing Company, Onuoha Ukeh, assured them of good publicity and advised the organisers to ensure that the king and queen carry out their projects during their reigns, and arrange other engagements where they can make appearances to gain more publicity.
