Following the massive promotion of about 3,487 of the officers and men of Nigeria Customs Service (NSC) by the Comptroller General of Customs (CGC), Colonel Hameed Ali (rtd), the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Marine Services Limited, Dr. Olusegun Ologbese, has expressed his appreciation of the CGC’s gesture.

Speaking with journalists in Lagos, Ologbese who is  also the President General of the Association of Good Leadership Advocates Peace Development, Lagos,  extolled what Ali has done  by promoting the Customs officers.

Ologbese thanked the CGC for remembering officers who were prematurely retired from the service and those that were not placed in positions commensurate with their qualifications.  Ologbese, however, charged those promoted to see their promotions as a call to higher duty.

Some of the newly promoted officers to the rank of comptrollers include Musa, MBA: Wale Adeniyi, Angbalaga JJ, Seriki-Kebbi MM, among others.
