Dr. Mahmoud Bala Alfa, a political economist and governance reform specialist, has extended his congratulations to the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo and the Deputy Governor, Salifu Joel Oyibo, as the administration marks two years in office.
In a statement issued to commemorate the anniversary, Dr. Alfa described the occasion as a significant point for assessment and renewed responsibility in public leadership. He observed that the government has maintained stability while pursuing policies aimed at improving governance and service delivery across the state.
He noted that achievements recorded so far include improvements in infrastructure, education and social programmes designed to support women, youths and vulnerable segments of society. He also highlighted efforts by the administration to promote peace, unity and public confidence throughout Kogi State.
Dr. Alfa emphasized that the next phase of governance requires sustained focus and strategic prioritisation to ensure long-term impact. He expressed optimism that the coming years would see further consolidation of progress and deeper development outcomes for the state.
He wished Governor Ododo and his Deputy continued success, expressing hope that ongoing initiatives would result in measurable improvements in the welfare of the people of Kogi State.
