The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Movement has disassociated itself from speculations from different quarters that its General Overseer, Pastor Lazarus Muoka used the platform to garner support for a particular political party or candidate.

In a statement issues in Lagos on Saturday, Director, Media and Public Relations of the church, Pastor Louis Chidi said attention of the church was drawn to some publications on some of the social media platforms attributed to the General Overseer , Pastor Lazarus Muoka which were meant to portray him and the Church, The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministry as politically inclined with sympathy for a particular political party and its candidate.

He stated without equivocation that neither Pastor Lazarus Muoka nor the Church has ever made any political statement in support or against any person or party , and has no course to be involved in politics. “We therefore wish to state categorically that such publications or views do not emanate from our General
overseer, rather it’s the enemy that has done that (Matth.13: 24-30). The Lord’s Chosen hereby disassociates itself and the General Overseer from such improper and divisive statements.”

Chidi noted that the Lord’s chosen is very preoccupied with the pursuant of its threefold vision vis-à-vis Grassroots revival all over the world, Revival of the Apostolic Christian Experiences among the body of Christ and Revival of heaven consciousness in the heart of every believer, and above all a mandate of Ten billion souls for the Kingdom of Heaven. “Consequently, the General Overseer on whose shoulder lies this gigantic task , has no time to indulge in politics or any other activities that could at any time jeopardize his divine assignment.
“We wish to use this opportunity therefore, to plead with the perpetrators of these evil write-ups to refrain from such acts meant to ruin the good reputation of the church and General Overseer or otherwise incur the wrath of God.
