The National Coordinator and President of Grassroots Sports Federation (GRASOF), John Ekpenyong has approved the appointment of the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) members for the 10th Senate President’s U-18 Unity Football Tournament.
The LOC members are tasked with ensuring the success of the tournament and are expected to discharge their duties with utmost professionalism and integrity.
The appointed members are: Sen Musa Mustafa as Chairman while Esin Esin is the secretary. Other members are Adede Kufre Iniama, Ali Gombe, Ada Gwegwe, Sylvanus Ofekun, Coach Ahmed Tanko, Sunny Opes, Hajiya Hauwa Lawan, Hajiya Dr Baheeha Mamund, Harrison Iyoana, Maxi Felix Ukpabi, Adewale Agbana, Anietie Ekong and Babangida Kebbi.
The Tournament Coordinator, John Ekpenyong, expressed gratitude to the Chairman, Sen. Musa Mustafa, for accepting to lead the committee, and to the Senate President, His Excellency Sen. Godswill Akpabio, GCON, for his approval of the tournament.
He also thanked Sen. Ned Nwoko for representing the Senate President in the previous edition and Sen. Abdul Ningi, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Sports, for his support.
This year’s edition will feature a Male and female category, aiming to promote unity and sports development among Nigerian youth.
