LG Electronics has showcased its latest artificial intelligence (AI)-powered home appliances and smart living technologies at the concluded Mega HORECA 2026 exhibition in Nigeria, following a similar exhibition earlier this year in Abu Dhabi.
The exhibitions, held as part of InnoFest 2026 in Abu Dhabi and Mega HORECA 2026 in Nigeria, featured a range of home and commercial appliances designed to improve efficiency, convenience, and energy management for households and businesses across the Middle East and Africa.
At the Nigerian exhibition, visitors and industry stakeholders were presented with AI-enabled refrigerators, laundry systems, cooking appliances, and air-conditioning units designed for both residential and hospitality use.
The display also included LG’s dehumidifier, which is designed to help reduce indoor moisture and improve air quality.
Earlier at InnoFest 2026 in Abu Dhabi, the company introduced several products tailored to regional needs, including its all-in-one washer-dryer system and vertical WashTower laundry units, which combine washing and drying functions in a single structure to save space.
The company also presented refrigerators equipped with adaptive cooling technologies intended to maintain optimal food storage conditions.
According to LG West Africa Subsidiary President, Hyoung Sub Ji, the company is focusing on developing appliances that align with local consumer needs while incorporating global technological advancements.
Mega HORECA is an annual exhibition that brings together hospitality operators, manufacturers, and technology providers to showcase innovations in equipment and services for the hospitality and home sectors.
