LBA 2024 gets July 19 date
As part of ways to celebrate the conclusion of the 2023/24 editions of the Nigeria Premier Football League, Nigeria Women’s Football League, and the Nigeria National League, MatchRoom Sports and Media – organizers of the influential League Bloggers Awards (LBA), is pleased to announce the 2024 edition of its End of the Season honours – the League Bloggers Awards Gala 2024.
This year’s edition of what has now become the most renowned football league awards in Nigeria is being organised with 54Footballx as the event’s headline sponsor.
The LBA Gala 2024 is scheduled to take place in Lagos, on Friday, July 19.
Since 2009, the LBA has served as a platform of recognition, and a form of celebration of the outstanding players in the Nigerian top flight, as well as other divisions.
This season, about 20 monthly honours were handed out to players and coaches in the NPFL, and the LBA Gala will see things go up a notch with not only NPFL players, clubs and coaches set to benefit but also major actors in the NWFL and NNL, as part of a 16-category shortlist for the event.
One other award – the Striker of the Season (for the top-scoring forward in the NPFL) is also expected to be handed out as a recognition honour.
