The lawmaker representing Ado/Ogbadibo/Okpokwu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Dr. Francis Ottah Agbo has felicitated the Chairman of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, (NDLEA) Brig-General Mohammed Buba Marwa (rtd) on his 69th birthday. Agbo, in a statement by his Media Adviser, Mr. Andrew Agbese, said Marwa has been a blessing to Nigeria and deserves to be celebrated for his many sacrifices to his fatherland.
“The accomplishments of this great leader are too numerous to mention but it suffices to say that I’m highly delighted to be associated with him in the fight against drug trafficking and abuse of dangerous and controlled substances in Nigeria.
“Within months that Gen. Marwa took over as the Chairman of NDLEA, the nation felt his presence with the frequent arrests of drug traffickers and seizures of controlled substances in large quantities. He has also motivated the personnel and fought corruption in the agency head on.
“These have proven that his successes as Nigeria’s military attache and later military administrator in Borno and Lagos States were not by accident but were recorded through thorough vision, planning and tenacity of purpose.
“I join the family of the distinguished Nigerian and thousands of well wishers to wish this great patriot, turnaround expert and archetypal public servant a happy birthday and long life in good health.”
