ORCA, home and lifestyle brand operating in 22 African countries, has opened its largest showroom in Lagos.
The showroom is located in Eko Atlantic City and spans approximately 50,000 square metres over four floors.
This marks a significant step in ORCA’s expansion into the Nigerian market.
Founded over 20 years ago in Dakar, Senegal, ORCA has gradually expanded into markets across West and Central Africa, including Senegal, Ivory Coast and Gabon. The Lagos showroom features over 100,000 items, such as furniture, kitchenware, décor, lighting, outdoor goods, homeware and children’s products, intended to serve customers in Lagos and surrounding states.
The opening comes at a time of rapid urban growth in Lagos and the company considers Nigeria a key market for future growth.
However, the recent developments around the ORCA Mall in Eko Atlantic City show it is positioned as a major retail and commercial project within a broader urban development context, rather than a mere brand promotional event.
Speaking at the launch, ORCA’s founders underscored the importance of Nigeria in the company’s growth plans, emphasising the country’s vast market potential and promising long-term opportunities for business development.
