A leading traders and market association in Lagos State, Ndi IgboAmaka Progressive Markets Association, has adopted United Nigeria Airlines as its official carrier and airline partner, formalising the partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

The agreement, signed in Lagos by the association’s President, Chinedu Ukatu, and United Nigeria Airlines Managing Director, Mazi Osita Okonkwo, unlocks a range of travel benefits for members, their families, customers, and business associates including discounted fares, lounge access, and priority services.

To kick off the partnership, the Managing Director of United Nigeria Airlines announced an exclusive offer of 50 tickets at a rebated fare of N80,000 for association members across its domestic network.

Okonkwo said the move reinforces the airline’s commitment to Nigeria’s trading community. “This partnership is about making travel easier, faster, and more rewarding for traders and their customers,” he said.

Ukatu described the deal as a strategic milestone, noting United Nigeria Airlines’ longstanding relationship with the association and the Chairman and Founder Prof. Obiora Okonkwo, role as grand patron. He said the collaboration will significantly improve travel convenience for traders operating within Lagos’ vast commercial ecosystem, which connects over 10 million traders nationwide.

He added that the airline’s strong safety record and consistent service delivery made it the clear choice for the association.
