In a renewed push for inclusive development, the Nima Memorial Care Foundation is set to host its annual symposium and grand ball dinner on March 22, in Lagos. This year’s event shifts the spotlight to a critical human rights issue, the welfare and inclusion of children with disabilities.
Themed, “Empowering Every Child: Breaking Barriers for Children with Disabilities,” the event serves as a dual-purpose platform for high-level advocacy and fundraising. The symposium will convene policymakers, educators and social development experts to address the structural and societal hurdles that prevent physically challenged children from reaching their full potential.
Proceeds from the event will directly fund the foundation’s core pillars, including: inclusive healthcare interventions and child welfare, economic empowerment initiatives, clean water projects and support for orphanages across Nigeria.
Convened by veteran journalist and advocate Zainab Abdumalik Muhammed, the event will honour the legacy of Nimatallahi Fashipe. It promises a sophisticated blend of networking, entertainment, and meaningful dialogue.
