Lagos Baking Materials Dealers Association, Ebonyi Cluster in Balogun Business Association (BBA), International Centre for Commerce (ICC),Lagos International Trade Fair Complex, have announced that members of the association still being owed various amount of money during the construction of the complex would be refunded within 28 days.
In a statement which was jointly signed by Shedrack Anijieke and Godwin Ogunwa, Chairman and Secretary Board of Trustees of the association respectively, the association said those who are to be refunded are expected to come with their receipts and other relevant documents.
According to the secretary of the association, Mr Ogunwa, what caused the delay in payment was the prolonged court cases that embarked upon by some of the aggrieved members of the association. He said now that they have resolved the issues, as a caring and responsible organisation, members still being owed will be refunded their hard earned money during the construction of the plaza. He said the delayed refund was quite regretable.
He said that with the current positive development, peace has returned to Ebonyi plaza and they are now trading like members of one family.
