Kwankwaso’s visit breathes life into C’River NNPP

In a significant boost to the fortunes of New Nigeria People’s Party’s (NNPP)  in Cross River State, National Leader Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, paid a galvanizing visit that breathed new life into the party’s state chapter.

The visit of the party’s national leader to the state started with a visit to the Deputy Governor of the state, Dr Peter Odey where he admired the agricultural potentials of the state before sparing some time to meet with stakeholders of the party alongside the Kwankwasiya Movement, a socio political organization in the state.

Addressing party stakeholders the former Kano State governor who is also the leader of the Kwankwasiya Movement, tasked stakeholders and members of the party in Cross River State to prioritize unity of the party ahead of the next general elections.

While thanking them for what they have done for the party, he challenged them to work harder and remain upbeat for a successful outing.

“We are happy with the leadership of the party in the state, and I want to encourage you to work hard to ensure unity within the party,” he said.

Kwankwaso also called on party leaders and members to work together to ensure victory in Cross River State and Nigeria.

In his address, NNPP State Chairman, Tony Odey, in his welcome address described Kwankwaso’s visit as a great inspiration as it will boost the party’s morale.

In addition, the state chairman acknowledged the effort of the Kwankwasiya movement describing it as the oxygen of the NNPP.

He described the visit of the national leader as a very welcome development as it enabled them to engage in meaningful discussion, share ideas and chart a new course for collective progress.

The NNPP state chairman highlighted recent achievements, including the acquisition of office accommodations in Calabar and five local government areas in the Northern Senatorial Zone.
