Prominent monarchs from Kuje, Rubochi, and Kwali areas of the Federal Capital Territory have thrown their weight behind President Bola Tinubu’s re-election in 2027, crediting FCT Minister Nyesom Wike with unprecedented infrastructural strides that have transformed their communities.
The rulers made this commitment when they hosted the FCT Renewed Hope Ambassadors, coordinated by Adamu Abdullahi (Candido), at their palaces on recently. They hailed the past two years’ federal interventions, which they said have finally brought tangible government presence to long-neglected satellite towns.

Pada lauded Abdullahi’s appointment and declared, “Even the blind can feel the presence of government here.” He pledged unwavering support for Tinubu and Wike, vowing to leverage his influence for a sweeping All Progressives Congress (APC) victory in upcoming polls.

Gomo of Kuje, Haruna Jibrin, spotlighted the revamped road networks that have spurred business booms and population growth. “Improved connectivity has turned Kuje into a thriving economic hub,” he said, adding that only the ungrateful would overlook Tinubu’s focus via Wike. Jibrin committed his domain to mobilising for Area Council elections and the president’s reelection, while praying for the ambassadors’ unity and success.
From Kwali, Etsu Luka Ayedo Nizassan III and a former Area Council chairman, speaking through his spokesperson Illiya Nizazo, thanked the administration for elevating a “son of the soil” as minister. He noted how projects have boosted commerce and reaffirmed Kwali’s APC loyalty, urging the ambassadors to spread the message across all clans.
In response, Coordinator Abdullahi touted Tinubu’s FCT achievements under Wike—nicknamed “Mr Project”—including roads, developments, and productivity that have reshaped the territory.
