Nasarawa state police command says it has recaptured one Hassan Hassan male whose name and picture was amongst the escaped inmates with Boko Haram/Terrorism Case.
This was contained in a press release signed by the Police public relations officer, Dsp, Ramhan Nansel send to Sunday Sun saying the escapee was recaptured by the Police operatives of the Nasarawa State Police Command at Keffi at about zero one thirty hours.
Recall that Sunday Sun had reported that a group of armed men recently attacked Kuje prison in Abuja and set free all suspected Boko haram members and other inmates.
The Commissioner of Police, CP Adesina Soyemi had since ordered for the transfer of the suspect to a safer location while intensive search for other escapees and handing over process of the arrested inmate progresses.
Soyemi further appreciated the efforts of the Police operatives for a job well done and assured members of the public of the Command’s unrelenting efforts at making the public space safer for all.
