Kogi guber: We’ll support Ododo to win –FCT minister

Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Ramatu Aliyu, has backed the candidature of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in the state, Usman Ododo, saying his emergence was a reflection of the excellent leadership of Governor Yahaya Bello.

The minister stated this when he received the candidate and his entourage in Abuja. She expressed confidence that the APC would win the November 11 governorship election resoundingly.

In Ododo’s entourage were Commissioner for Information and Communications, Kingsley Fanwol, Commissioner for Solid Minerals, Bashir Gegu; Special Adviser to the Governor on Political Matters, Haddi Ametuo; Rector, Kogi State Polytechnic, Usman Ogbo, Isah Usman and House of Representatives and House of Assembly members-elect on the platform of the APC from Kogi State and other chieftains of the party.

The minister congratulated Ododo for emerging as the party candidate even as she called on other  aspirants to support the choice of the party, insisting that Kogi is important to the APC.

She said it was important that the Governor Bello was  succeeded by a visionary leader who would  consolidate his achievements.

Ododo thanked the minister for her support to the party at the last general elections, assuring her that his candidacy was to deepen the gains of the Yaya Bello  years.
