The prime suspect  (name withheld) in the abduction and murder of Christianah, a 300-level student at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAB), Ogun State, has been linked to other killings.

The suspect who is under interrogation by the police, has been linked to the suspicious 2021 death of his sister and alleged to have been involved in the death of his girlfriend who died in 2018 in a similar manner.

An anonymous TikTok source, who claimed to be associated with the victims, alleged that evidence pointing to the suspect’s  involvement in Christianah’s murder raised doubts about the circumstances of his sister and girlfriend’s death. While the official cause of his sister and girlfriend’s death was previously unclear, the new claims suggested that the suspect might have been involved. The revelation has cast a shadow over the ongoing investigation and has led to calls for a deeper probe into his past.

Authorities are now under pressure to thoroughly investigate the fresh allegations and determine if there could be more victims connected to the suspect.

The case sparked concern among the public and legal experts, who stress the importance of uncovering the full extent of the suspect alleged criminal activities to ensure that justice is fully served.
