Lightway Academy, an upper scale primary and secondary school in Abuja hosted Prince Harry of Britain and his wife Meghan, who visited the country for three days late last week. The visit to the school was the first outing in Nigeria by the Prince and Duchess of Sussex as Harry and Meghan are also known.
The visit left inspiring memory on some young Nigerians who had contact with them. One of the young students,14-year-old Valeria Offia participated in the programme in her school and listened to Harry and Meghan talk to them about mental health. Prince Harry later autographed his book, titled, ‘Spare,’ for Miss Offia. The Prince wrote for Miss Offia, “Keep inspiring others, smashing stigma, and making a difference.” The young student said she would always keep the book to remember the visit to Lightway Academy by the Prince and Duchess of Sussex.
