The newly deployed Commissioner of Police to Kebbi State, Mr Samuel Titus Abubakar, has assumed duty as the 35th Commissioner of Police in the state.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Nafiu Abubakar, confirmed this in a statement made available to newsmen in Birnin Kebbi.
According to him, “The Kebbi State Police Command wishes to inform members of the public that, a new Commissioner of Police has been posted to the Command.
“He is CP Samuel Titus Musa. He took over the mantle of leadership of the Command from CP Lawal Abubakar Daura, fdc who was promoted to the rank of Assistant Inspector General of Police and posted to Zone 10 Headquarters, Sokoto.
“He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and a Master’s degree in Management from Edge Hill University, Omiskert, United Kingdom.
“CP Samuel Titus Musa, psc was enlisted into the Nigeria Police Force on 3rd March 1990, as a cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police and trained at the famous Police Academy Annex, Kaduna.
“While in the Force, the newly posted Commissioner of Police served in different State Commands, Zonal Commands, Formations and the Force Headquarters, Abuja.
“At this juncture, he appeals to the good people of Kebbi State to support, cooperate and assist the Police and other Security Agencies with vital, accurate and prompt information with a view to ensuring their security and safety for socio-economic development.
His posting takes immediate effect, please,” he added
