The Kebbi State Government has urged residents of the state to extend warm culture and hospitality to all the governors of the All Progressives Congress (APC), known as the Progressives Governors’ Forum (PGF), who are arriving in the state for a meeting.
Chief of Staff to the State Governor, Barrister Attahiru Maccido, stated this while briefing newsmen on the level of preparations ahead of the APC governors’ visit.
According to him, “On behalf of His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kebbi State, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris (Kauran Gwandu), and members of the State Executive Council, we warmly welcome all the APC governors to Kebbi State.
“The State Government has made adequate arrangements on logistics, accommodation, and security, in collaboration with relevant security agencies and stakeholders, to ensure a smooth and pleasant memorable meeting.

“The government has assigned various ministries and committees to ensure that all delegates and guests experience the warmth, culture, and hospitality for which Kebbi State is known.”
Maccido appealed to members of the public, particularly residents of Birnin Kebbi, to continue to uphold the spirit of peace, orderliness, and cooperation throughout the period of the meeting.
He appealed to the residents and stakeholders in the state to team with the government to make the APC governors’ meeting a successful one.
