Kebbi Gov’s Wife appeal to political appointees to reduce hunger during  Ramadan

The wife of  Kebbi State Governor,   Hajiya Zainab Nasir Idris has urged all the political appointees in the state to use the period of Ramadan to extends goodness  and reduce level of hunger among the people in the state.
 She stated this while addressing Commissioners, wives of Members of the State House of Assembly, Sole Administrators  and some selected female Muslim  Groups in the state in a Special Ramadan iftar at government house in Birnin Kebbi organized by her.
 The Governor’s Wife, through her Press Secretary, Hajiya Khadijat Saidu  stated this in a statement made available to newsmen in Birnin Kebbi
 According to her, “Hajia Zainab said she was delighted to host the groups and break the fast together.
She said the blessings of Ramadan is incomparable to any, therefore, she urged all Muslims to take advantage of the period and extends goodness,  humanity to others.
  “While  emphasizing on  the importance of extending assistance  to those less privileged, she said If you are in a position to do so, I urge you to be a beacon of support and generosity,
    “” Ensure that no one in your vicinity suffers from hunger; prepare meals within your means and share it with them and others, Prioritize  voluntary contributions (sadakaq)  and let your acts of kindness not be limited to this holy month but continue with such good act  throughout the year in order to  bring about positive change within your families and across the state.” she added.
 The Governor’s Wife, thanked her guests for honouring the invitation to bring the fasting with her and wishing them safe journey to their respective places.
