Kebbi Gov. assures rural dwellers of equally distributes developmental projects

The Kebbi State Governor, Dr Nasir Idris has insisted that his administration are determined to equally distributed developmental projects across the state which shall be waiting extended the rural areas.

Idris disclosed this while flagging-off All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign for a re-run election in 25 wards of Arewa/Dandi federal constituency.

 

It will could be recall that the election was mandated by the court judgement that ordered a re-run in 25 polling units in the two Local Government Areas.

While speaking at speaking at Buma village in Dandi LGA and Kangiwa in Arewa LGA, Governor explained that the electorate had earlier declared a convincing win for APC during the previous general elections and urged them to do more by coming out en mass to vote the party’s candidate, Alhaji Garba Rabi’u-Kamba.

 

According to him, ‘We are here to beg you to give us another chance by trouping out en mass to vote APC in the forthcoming re-run election. We promised to continue with the good work already started in your respective areas,” he said.

In his remark,the APC State Chairman, Alhaji Abubakar Kana-Zuru informed the people of the areas that they have forwarded some requests to the present administration and all their requests were granted.

 

He said: “It is imperative to note that this party is a party for the common people and it’s ready to bring more development to your door steps, hence the need for you to come out en mass to reciprocate and cast your votes to our candidate.”

Also, the Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs and Empowerment, Alhaji Muhammad Hamidu-Jarkuka told the people of the area about the good gesture of the present administration and why they should vote for APC.

While canvassing for block votes for the party, Hamidu-Jarkuka promised to donate a vehicle to any polling unit that produce the highest votes to APC.

The Commissioner observed that people of the area had no other party to vote than APC and encouraged them to triple the votes casted to the party in the previous election.
