The Kebbi State Governor, Dr Nasir Idris, has constituted boards for six agencies, commission and parastatals to further streamline the affected areas.
The Chief Press Secretary to Kebbi State Governor disclosed this in a statement issued to Newmen in Birnin Kebbi and made available to newsmen by Chief Press Secretary to the Governor,Ahmed Idris.
Idris quoted the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Alhaji Yakubu Bala-Tafida as revealing this in a circular containing the names and portfolios of the new appointees.
The SSG listed the agencies and commission to include; Kebbi State Zakka Board, Kebbi State Preaching Board, Kebbi State Home Savings and Loans/Microfinance Bank, Kebbi State Community Health Agency (KECCEMA), Kebbi State Direct Labour Agency and Kebbi State Fisical Responsibity Commission.
While congratulating the appointees on their new posts, the SSG said their appointments were based on merit and urged them to justify the confidence reposed in them by actively contributing their quota towards taking the state to greater heights of development.
