The All Progressives Congress, (APC) in Kebbi State has expressed appreciation to its teeming supporters and other people in the state for voting massively for the party in last Saturday’s presidential election that facilitated the victory of  Bola Tinubu as president-elect.

The party’s Public Relations Officer (PRO) in the state, Isah Assalafi  at a press briefing in Birnin Kebbi, acknowledged that though APC lost some seats in the senate and House of Representatives to the opposition, the outcome did not in any way affect the strength of the party in the state.

He said the loss has rather galvanized and encouraged the resolve of party faithful to work hard to clinch the governorship and House of Assembly seats on March 11.

Assalafi urged the people of Kebbi State to troop out en-mass to vote for APC’s governorship candidate, Dr. Nasir Idris and all its House of Assembly candidates.

On the outcome of the Kebbi Central Senatorial election, Assalafi said the APC has grievances with the election result and would seek redress in court after gathering necessary facts and evidence.

He said the party would also require INEC to expedite action in  addressing the inconclusive election of the Senate for Kebbi North as well as those for House of Representatives for Dandi/Arewa Federal Constituency and Koko-Besse/Maiyama Federal Constituency where three candidates of the party were already heading for victory.
