A 40-foot container laden truck on Tuesday morning crashed into the demarcation blocks and other vehicles at the exit of Kara bridge on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
It was learnt that the truck suffered a brake failure.
The Lagos State Traffic Management Agency (LASTMA) confirmed the crash in an X post.
LASTMA said the incident created traffic backlog that extended to New Garage, noting that recovery and evacuation efforts had commenced.
The agency appealed to commuters to remain calm amid efforts to clear the obstruction and ensure free flow of traffic.
