Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has forwarded the names of six commissioners-designate to the Kano State House of Assembly for their approval.
The Speaker of the House of Assembly, Ismail Jibrin Falgore, disclosed this on Monday while reading the governor’s letter at the plenary.
Top among them was the former Chief of Staff, Shehu Wada Sagagi, whose office was scrapped as a result of the cabinet reshuffle announced by the Governor.

Others were Dahiru Mohd Hashim, Ibrahim Abdullahi Wayya, Isma’il Dan Maraya, Gaddafi Sani Shehu, and Abdulkadir AbdulSalam.
it could be recalled that Governor Yusuf, who had last week sacked the Secretary to the State Government, scrapped the
Office of the Chief of Staff and dropped five commissioners and reassigned several others.
The dropped commissioners included Ibrahim Jibril Fagge, of the Finance Ministry; Ladidi Ibrahim Garko, Culture and Tourism; Baba Halilu Dantiye, Information and Internal Affairs; Shehu Aliyu Yammedi, Special Duties; and Abbas Sani Abbas, Rural and Community Development.
