According to the statement, the operation would focus on dangerous driving behaviors such as overloading, excessive speeding, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, dangerous overtaking, use of phones while driving, underage driving, and lane violations as well as manage traffic flow and ensure timely rescue and assistance to victims of road crashes.

The Sector Commander urged road users to prioritize safety by adhering to traffic regulations and avoiding reckless behaviors that jeopardize lives.

He further urged passengers to speak up against dangerous driving practices and hold drivers accountable for their actions even as he encouraged the public to collaborate with the FRSC to achieve an accident-free festive season.

He advised motorists to plan their journeys in advance, avoid night travels, and report emergencies to the FRSC toll-free line 122 or visit the nearest FRSC office for assistance.
