Kalu salutes former Senate President, Ahmad Lawan at 65

Chairman, Senate Committee on Privatization and former Governor of Abia State, Dr. Orji Kalu has described former President of the Senate, Dr. Ahmad Lawan as a selfless public servant with passion for the growth and progress of Nigeria.

Extolling the outstanding leadership qualities of the parliamentarian, the former governor applauded the giant accomplishments of the Senator in the public sector.

Kalu, while acknowledging the invaluable contributions of Lawan to nation building through various platforms, urged the Senator to sustain his commitment to the development of Nigeria. In a congratulatory message, the former Governor extended his greetings to the government and people of Yobe state on the joyous occasion. He said: “On behalf of the people of Abia North Senatorial district, I join family, friends, associates and well-wishers in celebrating the former President of the Senate, Dr. Ahmad Lawan as he clocks 65.

“The Senator is an accomplished politician and philanthropist of repute, who is committed to a united and prosperous Nigeria. “He has sustained his contributions to the social, economic and political development of Nigeria by serving meritoriously in various capacities in the legislative arm of government. “The former President of the Senate has continually played leading roles in nation building. “He is passionate about the growth and development of Nigeria. “The Senator deserves to be celebrated for his robust achievements in all facets of life”. Kalu wished the celebrant a memorable and fulfilling birthday celebration.
