So far, results of last Saturday’s gubernatorial election in four local government areas of Kaduna State have been released by INEC.
The results are as under:
Collation officer: Prof. Mohammed Bello, Vice Chancellor, Bayero University, Kano.
Kaura LGA
Registered voters: 91,798
Accredited vote: 48,503
APC:8,342
PDP: 38,764.
Electoral Officer, Dr. Luka Kachia Maude.
Makarfi LGA.
Registered: 104,458.
Accredited voters: 58,774
APC: 34,956
PDP: 22,301.
The result of Kaura shows that the Deputy Governor of the state, Barnabas Yusuf Bala failed to deliver his LG.
Jaba LGA
Electoral officer: Dr. A. Ajibola (ABU, Zaria).
Registered voters: 57,428
Accredited voters: 30,701
APC: 6,298.
PDP: 22,976
Kudan LGA
Electoral officer, Prof. Yusuf Dada Amadi

APC=28,624
PDP=22,022
Valid=50,960
Rejected=683
Total=51,643
The governorship candidate of the PDP, Isah Ashiru, lost in his LGA of Kudan.
