Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani has congratulated the newly appointed Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), Gen Christopher Gwabin Musa, describing him as an Ambassador and worthy son of Kaduna State.
In a statement on Tuesday, Governor Uba Sani expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for finding Gen. Christopher Gwabin Musa worthy of the national assignment.
“On behalf of the Government and good people of Kaduna State, I wish to congratulate our dear brother and citizen, Gen. Christopher Gwabin Musa on his well-deserved appointment as the Chief of Defence (CDS).
“The new Chief of Defence Staff, a worthy Ambassador of Kaduna State, has had a distinguished military career. He held many strategic positions, including Theatre Commander “Operation Hadin Kai.” In his years of military service, he has been exemplary in his professional conduct.
“His diligence, dedication and loyalty have been rewarded with this elevation to the position of CDS.
“I wish to therefore express our profound gratitude to our dear leader, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR for finding our son worthy of this important national assignment.
“Mr President has always identified with Kaduna State and its people. We shall give Mr President all the support he needs to take our nation to higher heights.
“We wish the new Chief of Defence Staff God’s guidance in his new assignment,” the statement said.
