Kaduna: Ex-Speaker hails Governor over groundbreaking of road projects

Speaker of the 9th Kaduna State Assembly Rt Hon Yusuf Ibrahim Zailani has expressed appreciation to Governor Uba Sani for the groundbreaking ceremony of two significant roads in the state.

The event, which took place on Monday, marked the Flagg off for commencement of construction for the 35km Road from Gadan Gayan through Gwaraji to Kujama Junction, linking Igabi and Chikun Local Governments, as well as the 6km College Road in Sabon Tasha from Signboard through Juji, linking Eastern Bypass.

In a statement signed by his media Aide, Ibrahim Dahiru Danfulani, the 9th Kaduna State Assembly Speaker highlighted the importance of these road projects in both rural and urban areas.

“Igabi and Chikun Local Government Areas where these roads are located possess immense agricultural potentials, and the construction of these roads will undoubtedly enhance transportation and connectivity, thus boosting economic activities in the region.

“I want to express my gratitude to Governor Uba Sanı for his commitment to the development of the state. And I want to reassure the governor of Mt unwavering support and I promise to do everything within my power to ensure the success of the current administration.

“The groundbreaking ceremony signifies a significant step towards improving infrastructure and promoting growth in the region. With the construction of these roads, the communities in Igabi and Chikun Local Governments can look forward to enhanced accessibility and increased opportunities for economic development.

“It is anticipated that these road projects will not only benefit the local residents but also attract investments and spur further development in the area,” the statement said.
