The Federal Capital Territory police Commissioner Sadik Abubakar has met with the joint Task Force team set up to provide security for the February 25 general elections in the country.
The joint Task Force comprises personnel from the Nigerian Army, Navy, Air Force, Police, Civil Defence, Immigration, NDLEA, VIO, Federal Fire Service, FRSC, Nigerian Correctional
The meeting is taking place at the Eagle Square, Abuja.
The commissioner said over 17,000 security personnel would be deployed for security operations in the FCT.
