The Chief Justice of the Federation, Justice Walter Onnoghen, has unveiled the trophy for the 23rd Judiciary Staffers Games billed for Calabar, Cross River State .
At the unveiling ceremony held at the Chief Justice of Nigeria Chamber Abuja, Justice Onnoghen,urged his staffs to use the forthcoming sports fiesta as a unifying factor geared towards having good relationship and better understanding among themselves so that they can discharge their duties effectively.
“I want to encourage both the organizers and participants to play by the rules and regulations of the game, so that you can achieve better understanding among yourself.
I also enjoin you all to create goodwill’s and better friendship through this games,because sports has always been the vehicle of our national unity” .
The Chief Justice of Nigeria was accompanied by the Secretary, National Judiciary Council, Ahmed Gambo Sale, the Chief Registrar of Supreme court of Nigeria, Mrs. Hadizatu Mustapha and other directors and deputy directors of the Supreme Court.
The President, National Sports Association for Judiciary (NASAJ) Comrade Emeka Ndilli, disclosed that August 20 is the arrival for the the games while screening and accreditation will begin on 21- 22 August, 2017.
